Eastman Advantis 550-1 25X adhesion promoter

Eastman Advantis™ 550-1 25X adhesion promoter is a nonchlorinated product for adhesion to TPO and polypropelene-based substrates. Nonchlorinated systems are known to demonstrate excellent performance under 2-part urethane (2K) coatings, but often their application is limited to 2Ks. Advantis 550-1 25X expands nonchlorinated performance to applications under many melamine-cured systems. Formulators can expect a boost in gasoline resistance performance by adding Advantis 550-1 25X to their current adhesion promoter system. Due to its lack of chlorine and its chemical structure, Advantis 550-1 25X exhibits excellent humidity and gasoline resistance, particularly under 1K systems. Advantis 550-1 25X adhesion promoter is available at 25% weight solids in aromatic 100 or in xylene. If the solution gels due to storage at low temperatures, it can be re-liquefied by warming with agitation.
