TETD (Tetraethylthiuram Disulfide) Ultra

This product is designed for the rubber industry. Two grades are available: Ultra & grs-3mm. Both grades are off white.</p> <p>Dimacit TETD offers fast vulcanization and gives more scorch delay than Dimacit TMTD. It gives an excellent vulcanization plateau with good heat aging and compression set resistance when used in sulfur less vulcanization systems and EV systems.</p> <p>In EPDM Dimacit TETD is a valuable secondary accelerator.</p> <p>Dimacit TETD gives excellent dispersions in soft compounds due to its low melting point.</p> <p>Dimacit TETD is non-staining and non-discoloring; excellent colors are obtained in non-black vulcanizates.</p> <p>It should be notes that in the application of Dimacit TETD N-nitrosodimethylamine can be formed by the reaction of dimethylamine, a decomposition product, with nitrosating agents (nitrogen oxides).</p>
