Solus 1375 performance additive, food contact

Eastman Solus™ 1375 performance additive, food contact is designed to deliver on the high-performance expectations required of ink and metal packaging formulations.</br></br></br> With a high viscosity and higher molecular weight than other Solus™ grades it offers balanced solubility and compatibility, along with moisture resistance, excellent surface hardness, and high film strength. It also provides good adhesion to metallic surfaces, making it ideal for metal food packaging formulations. Additionally, it demonstrates UV light stability and is non-yellowing, which helps maintain brighter whites. </br></br></br> Supplied as a dry, free-flowing powder, it offers formulation convenience and ease of handling. Eastman Solus™ 1375, food contact is based on cellulose, one of Earth's most abundant natural renewable resources. </br></br></br> This product is manufactured, stored, handled and transported by Eastman under conditions adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices for food contact applications. This product meets requirements for use in certain food contact applications under regulations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (21 CFR), European Commission (Regulation 10/2011) and the Switzerland Ordinance of the FDHA on materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs (817.023.21, Annex 10).
