Global specialty plastics provider Eastman has joined with Durable Plastics Ltd. (DPL), part of RFL Group in Bangladesh, to produce reusable water bottles made with Eastman Tritan™ copolyester, a crystal clear and durable polymer that is also BPA-free and shatter resistant.
Tritan is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for food contact applications and has successfully replaced polycarbonate (PC) and polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) in many applications with its unmatched balance of properties. It is safe for use by children, and its high temperature and chemical resistance make it safe to put in the dishwasher.T
hese trendy bottles, which come in gray and red, are sold under the Marino™ brand in Germany and Bangladesh. Each bottle holds 680 mL of liquid.
