The war in Ukraine caused a humanitarian crisis with millions of people displaced from their homes and in need of food, water, shelter and medical care. Eastman employees and the Eastman Foundation are committed to helping those in need and have donated more than $230,000 to Ukraine war relief efforts.
Donations from Eastman employees were raised through a company-wide fundraising campaign. Employees were encouraged to give to their favorite humanitarian organization, and the company matched all donations dollar for dollar.
The donations from Eastman helped support a variety of organizations that are providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine. They include:
- CARE
- The International Committee of the Red Cross
- Doctors Without Borders
- UNICEF
The donations help these organizations provide food, water, shelter, medical care and other essential aid to the people of Ukraine.
The donations are a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of those in need.
