Eastman selects new European distributor for Synergex^™

KINGSPORT, Tennessee

Eastman has selected Meade-King Robinson & Co. Ltd. (MKR) as the exclusive distributor of Synergex™ multifunctional amine additives in several countries in Western and Eastern Europe. Synergex boosts performance and extends the life of metalworking fluids.

MKR will handle sales for the U.K., Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and other countries in Western and Eastern Europe, including the Nordic region.

“After an extensive evaluation process, we’re very content with our selection of MKR,” said Rene Leppers, Eastman sales manager for care chemicals. “Synergex has a lot of potential in Europe, and we look forward to working with MKR to grow our business.”

MKR is a privately owned distribution company based in Liverpool, England. For more than 140 years, it has specialized in chemicals and oils.

Eastman works with another amine additives distributor in Central Europe. GB Chemie GmbH handles distribution of Synergex in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

“We’ve been very happy with GB Chemie in the Central European region and wanted to find an additional distributor to help reach the remainder of Europe,” Leppers said. “MKR will help us tap into new markets with its broad reach.”
