Better performance

Eastman Tritan™ copolyester is a BPA-free material recognized for its durability. Brands worldwide use this food-safe plastic in their storage products.

As a high-performing copolyester, Tritan enables products to resist impact and shattering. It also offers superior chemical resistance and can be molded into a variety of shapes and colors. Tritan retains that beauty through its stain and odor resistance.

Food trays made with Aventa

Eastman Aventa™ compostable materials offer manufacturers of food service items an option that has a sustainable end of life. Products made from Aventa provide stability and a solution to needless waste.

Biobased Aventa is made from renewable wood pulp and acetic acid. The manufacturing process breaks down molecules to form cellulose acetate pellets, which are then formed into food service and storage items. Aventa-based articles are compostable and biodegradable and won’t remain as microplastics.

These benefits come without compromising performance. Items made with Aventa look, feel and perform like their traditional counterparts, providing the durability and versatility needed by retailers and end users.
