Eastman DOA Renew 20 plasticizer (bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate) is a light-colored, oily liquid generally used as a plasticizer for PVC. It can be used alone or blended with other plasticizers such as DOP or DOTP. In PVC, Eastman DOA Renew 20 plasticizer features flexibility at low temperatures, good electrical properties, resistance to weathering, and heat stability. In addition to PVC, Eastman DOA Renew 20 is compatible with nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, most synthetic rubbers, and high-butyryl cellulose acetate butyrates. It is used to produce clear films for food packaging applications. Eastman Renew plasticizers have been certified by International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), a global, independent agency that tracks sustainable content in a variety of industries. Renew plasticizers are produced with ISCC-certified circular content by mass balance allocation. Renew plasticizers enable a brand to reduce consumption of fossil feedstock-based plastics, achieve sustainability targets without compromise, and be a fast mover in a growing market for sustainable consumer products.
