Solus 1225 performance additive

Eastman Solus™ 1225 performance additive is designed to deliver on the high performance expectations required of ink and metal packaging formulations. This cellulose-based additive enables formulations with good resistance to UV discoloration, excellent hardness and anti-blocking properties in support of high production speeds. Solus™ 1225 is well adapted for use in printing inks and overprint varnishes as a result of its wide solubility in relevant solvents, strong compatibility with other ink resins, desirable resistance to grease and oil, low odor properties, and high melting point. When Solus™ 1225 is dissolved in appropriate solvents a clear, colorless solution is produced.
