Eastman Solus™ 5900 performance additive is designed to provide high-performance in consumer products, electronics and plastic coatings. Good UV stability, long-term maintenance of coating film color, and superior adhesion all enable excellent coating performance in the consumer marketplace. And improved pigment dispersion, strong reactivity, and options to crosslink with urea formaldehydes, melamines, and polyisocyanates deliver the options that a formulator needs. Solus™ 5900 is soluble in low molecular weight alcohols, such as methanol, ethanol, isopropanol and n-propanol, as well as other common organic solvents. When dissolved in appropriate solvents, a clear colorless solution is produced.
