Eastman Solus 1125 performance additive, food contact

Eastman Solus™ 1125 performance additive, food contact, is designed to deliver on the high performance expectations required of ink and metal packaging formulations. This cellulose ester enables low application viscosities at relatively high solids levels due to the robust solubility properties of these distinctive materials. Solus™ 1125 is soluble in a wide range of solvents and compatible with many other resins, and when dissolved in appropriate solvents a clear, colorless solution is produced. Supplied as a dry free-flowing powder, this product will also permit the use of solvent blends currently exempt from certain air pollution regulations. </br></br></br> Eastman Solus™ 1125, food contact, is based on cellulose, one of Earth's most abundant natural renewable resources, with an approximate calculated bio-content value of over 40%. </br></br></br> This product is manufactured, stored, handled and transported by Eastman under conditions adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices for food contact applications. This product meets requirements for use in certain food contact applications under regulations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (21 CFR), European Commission (Regulation 10/2011) and the Switzerland Ordinance of the FDHA on materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs (817.023.21, Annex 10).
