Eastman plasticizers will be readily available to customers in Mexico and Brazil thanks to a distribution deal the company reached with Univar Solutions.
The agreement makes Univar the distributor of choice for Eastman plasticizers in those countries. General-purpose and specialty plasticizers for PVC, flooring and other applications will be available through Univar, a global management service company that’s expanding its relationship with Eastman through this agreement.
Univar will help customers get a range of products to meet their plasticizer needs. Those products include Eastman 168™ SG, a regulatory-compliant option made without phthalates, and Benzoflex™ 9-88, a high-solvating benzoate ester option in a range of polymer systems. Also included are Eastman Renew plasticizers, made with certified recycled content* from Eastman’s molecular recycling technology.
The deal broadens Univar’s offerings in the Mexican and Brazilian markets. Eastman partnered with Univar in those regions due to Univar’s technical and logistical capabilities there. Local businesses will have a local supply of Eastman plasticizers readily available.
