Eastman plasticizers make elastomers pliable and easier to shape. This is particularly valuable for gaskets, seals and soft-touch materials requiring flexibility.

Benzoflex™ 9-88 and Benzoflex™ 9-88 SG have been the standard plasticizers for one-component (1K) and two-component (2K) polyurethanes, respectively, for decades. Their broad compatibility across the range of polyurethane chemistries makes them the products of choice for thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers, such as those used in skateboard and industrial rollers.

Eastman™ DOA plasticizer is often recommended for applications needing low glass transition temperatures (Tg) to remain flexible in colder environments. Eastman DOA can prevent stiffness or brittleness, which allows elastomers to maintain functionality across a wide temperature range.
