The manufacturing date on the product’s certificate of approval is when the product was made and put into a storage tank. The use-by date is calculated based on shelf life and reflects when the product is put into its primary packaging, which can be weeks or months after it was made.
We began laser etching shelf-life information onto our turbo oil quart cans in July 2019. Prior to that, such information was embossed. The shelf-life period begins when the product is packaged. If your dates are embossed, confirm the product is still usable.
Use this informational image to determine when your turbo oil can was packaged.
This is how you can figure out when your product was made, what batch number it was a part of and the use-by date.
This is where to find information on when your Skydrol can was produced.
